    Fader and Module Start and Stop Airlite

    Configuration in RadioDJ and Airlite Virtual Keyboard Mapper





    Midi Controller Plugin

    Check if all MIDI plugins are installed. If not, you have to copy these files into the Plugins map of RadioDJ.
    After installing restart RadioDJ.

    Steps in RadioDJ

    Step 1. Sound Cards)
    Connect a soundcard to Aux Player 1 (USB Channel 6 Airlite) and Aux Player 2 (LINE channel 6 Airlite)
    Connect a soundcard to Aux Player 3 (
    USB Channel 7 Airlite) and Aux Player 4 (LINE channel 7 Airlite)
    (Options – Sound Cards)

    On the Airlite

    In my case I have an internal soundcard (M-Audio Delta 1010LT) with multiple connections. I have connected Line 1/2 of the soundcard to the LINE cinch buses of channel 6 and I have connected Line 3/4 of the soundcard to the LINE cinch buses of channel 7.


    In RadioDJ I have connected the following soundcards:

    Airlite Channel 6 -> Aux Player 1
    Line 1/2 (M-Audio Delta 1010LT) -> Aux Player 2
    Airlite Channel 7 -> Aux Player 3
    Line 3/4 (M-Audio Delta 1010LT) -> Aux Player 4

    Step 2.
    Shortcuts Editor (Options – Shortcuts)



    • This you can read in the green section left below.


      Doubleclick on the row of which you want to modify the shortkey. For AUX Players these are Start AUX Player 1 to 4 and Stop AUX Player 1 to 4.


    • The section changes in red and you will read Press The New Key!



    • Check boxes CTRL and SHIFT.







    • Click button Y on your keyboard.


    • The text in the section now changes into New Key: Y!

    • Click the button Modify.



    • The section lights up green and you will read Modified! Start AUX Player 1 is modified now.



    • If you look into the shortkey list you will see that for Start AUX Player 1 boxes Control and Shift are checked and the Key Name is Y.



    • Now modify all the other Start and Stop AUX Players as in the window above (Shortcuts Editor screen).
      The keys Add (+), Subtract (-), Multiply (*) and Divide (/) are the keys of the NumPad part of your keyboard.






    • If you have modified all the Start and Stop AUX Players click on Save.



    Steps in Airlite Virtual Keyboard Mapper (AVKM)Step 1.

    NOTE: from version 2.0.53.0 the AVKM starts as a Service. It automatically starts when you start your PC. An icon will be shown in the right corner below. The AVKM doensn’t shut down automatically when you turn off your PC. Right click on the icon and exit (the Control buttons will be switched off).



    • Open both Shortcut Editor and AVKM so you can see all shortcut settings at a glance.

    • Go to Module 6 of the AVKM.



    • Check the boxes as below and select the key combinations from the dropdownboxes as below.




    • Go to Module 7 of the AVKM.



    • Check the boxes as below and select the key combinations from the dropdownboxes as below.





    • Save your settings. File and Save As.



    • settings_virtualkeyboardmapper
      Save the file with i.e. name: settings_virtualkeyboardmapper




    • Close RadioDJ and restart.
